Pleasantly mild single malt with aging in the rum cask
Each bottle of this unusual Whiskys is unique and therefore perfect for connoisseurs willing to discover. After the malt Whisky Matured in American white oak casks for about half a decade, it is transferred to casks in which the famous rum from the island of Jamaica, known for its sugar cane, previously aged.
A Jamaican rum is usually very strong and spicy in taste; Before bottling, it matures for several months in wooden barrels, which are later used for post-maturation SLYRS Paint Whisky serves. A few barrels that previously contained rhum agricole (made from sugar cane – not molasses, as is usually the case!) from the Caribbean island of Martinique are also used by SLYRS the Whisky-Finish used.
The typical rum flavors takes the Whisky in a sufficiently long post-ripening and thus becomes a true masterpiece of the Bavarian Whiskyspecialists.
Tasting & recommendations
Tip: Best enjoyed pure. However, it is also suitable as an ingredient for high-quality mixed drinks.
